A hotel based opposite Regent’s Park in London has launched an all-new ‘dog-friendly’ offering so pet lovers can bring their furry friends with them on a stay to England’s capital city.

Melia White House, which is part of Melia Hotels International, is a beautiful 1930s Grade-II listed hotel that now has rooms where dogs can relax along with their families.

Each room will include a ‘thoughtfully curated selection of organic products,’ along with a personalized letter, dog food made from natural ingredients and water bowls. There will also be a sustainably sourced dog toy, protein-packed snacks from Edgar & Cooper and biodegradable waste bags.

Alongside the usual bed offering, there will be a soft dog bed so furry companions can sleep comfortably within the room.

In the morning, dogs are able to be in the in-house Mediterranean-inspired restaurant Arado for breakfast service.

Melia has a number of dog friendly hotels across Europe, now including London

This isn’t the first hotel out of the chain to allow dogs either, as they have several worldwide including in Majorca, Madrid, Tenerife and Ibiza.

While pets are welcome to stay, there is an additional cost of £50 per night but this does include all the added room amenities.

As for the location, the hotel is within walking distance from the major stations including London Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras International.

Regent’s Park is also one of the most beautiful outdoor areas in London, with it being a Royal Park that occupies 410 acres of land in the north-west of the inner city.

It’s home to Primrose Hill too which is in the north of the park. This area has become famous for having glamorous celebrity residents and the top of the hill has one of the best views over the city.
