Etihad Airways has today (November 18) said “something BIG is coming” as it prepares to announce 10 new destinations in one day.

The company has posted a teaser, with more information to come on November 25 but it is said to involve one of its most ambitious projects ever.

The airline will reveal the locations next Monday, with hints to be released through a TikTok campaign over the coming days.

The 10 new destinations will bring Etihad’s total number of cities served to 93, with the company describing this as being “a significant milestone in its ongoing journey or growth and commitment to customer service excellence.”

Etihad prepares to launch new network of flights

Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad’s Chief Executive Officer said in the press release: “We’re almost ready to announce the new destinations which will excite and delight our customers.

“We have already unveiled three new destinations for 2025 – Prague, Warsaw and Al Alamein, but now we are taking it to another level. Etihad is accelerating its growth strategy with an impressive announcement of 10 new destinations on a single day.

“This bold move highlights the airline’s commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience, marked by authentic Emirati hospitality and convenient travel options. We are dedicated to meeting our guests’ needs by offering the destinations they desire, at the times and frequencies that best suit them.”

The company’s head office is based in Abu Dhabi, with its commercial operations having begun in 2003. Since then, it has gone on to become the fastest growing airline in the history of commercial aviation.

The destinations it currently flies to includes the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America.

The newly released destinations for 2025 (the ones we already know about!) include Warsaw which will feature four flights per week from June next year. Prague will also have four flights per week from the same month, with Al Alamein seeing two flights per week from July.
