The re-launch of mystery cruises by the Fred. Olsen Cruise Line has been announced with the trips set to sail next November.
While the three departures have now been made public, the ports remain a closely guarded secret.
It’s in November of 2025 when the trips will begin, with the company bringing the mystery cruise back – the last adventure was in 2019.
The itinerary online for the cruises simply states the departure and return ports in the UK, with the middle section left as ‘Mystery Ports.’
Clare Ward, the commercial and product director at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines said in a press release: “We’re very excited for the return of our Mystery Cruises.
“We know they are always a fantastic experience for our guests, combining the beauty of cruise travel with the added anticipation of surprise, as they venture into the unknown.
“The sense of anticipation builds from the moment the guest steps foot on board. They’ll have to wait each day to find out whether the Captain is guiding them north or south, perhaps to somewhere they’ve always wanted to visit or an undiscovered gem.
Although the company isn’t giving away the locations, Clare Ward explained what guests can expect: “While the itinerary is a surprise, guests can be certain that the on board experience will be just as they expect with warm, attentive service, delicious cuisine and quality entertainment.”
“While on board, guests will have the opportunity to join astronomers from Go Stargazing to view the night skies from the middle of the ocean where there is little light pollution.”
Fred. Olsen Cruise Line introduces three mystery cruises for 2025
The first trip will be on the Borealis ship and will depart from Portsmouth in the UK on November 7, 2025. This will be a five-night cruise, followed by Borealis’ second mystery adventure on November 12.
The second will be 11 nights long and will sail from Southampton before returning back to Portsmouth at the end.
Then, finally, Bolette will depart on December 15 from Liverpool which will be seven-nights in total.
