Air France presented its upcoming network developments at a recent travel trade show, with the launch of new flights announced.

The company will start to run flights to Phuket, Thailand, from as soon as November 27, 2025, as well as Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from January 13, 2026.

This comes after Henri Hourcade, the General Manager France at Air France-KLM, reviewed the highlights of this summer at the opening of the event. Up to 140,000 customers were carried each day on nearly 900 daily flights.

To support these operations, over 3,000 agents were mobilized across French airports. It was earlier in the year, in summer, when the company expanded its long-haul network with new services from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport to Orlando and Riyadh.

What new services has Air France announced?

The Air France airline showcased its latest onboard innovations and services including an announcement about the Embraer 190 aircraft which has been retrofitted with lighter and more comfortable seats, as well as the company’s high-speed Wi-Fi.

The company has become the first major European airline to offer this connectivity free of charge to all passengers, in all cabins. By the end of 2025, 30% of the fleet will be equipped, with full coverage expected to be in place by 2026.

The rollout of the new La Première suites, which were first announced back in April, was also mentioned at the event as these are already available on flights to New York-JFK and Singapore, and it will be soon to Los Angeles and Tokyo-Haneda.

A new Business seat was showcased too, with this featuring a Sofitel My Bed mattress topper.
