Lufthansa First Class, seat laid out as a bed with a privacy screen in front of it.

Lufthansa’s Allegris First Class experience has officially taken flight, with its second outing to occur in a couple of days.

This is the flagship of the new cabin on long-haul routes, with its first adventure being Bangalore on November 9 and the second is Mumbai later this week (November 15).

It features First Class upgrades like guests being able to heat or cool their almost one-meter-wide seats according to their needs. There are separate suites with ceiling-high walls and lockable doors, a large table, wide seat, and a big screen.

Guests can also utilize the personal wardrobe in the suite which has another room and storage for travelers to comfortably change and store their personal items.

While it has significant comfort levels for individuals, it also has the option for guests traveling together to have their partner in a suite.

For those who prioritize entertainment, Lufthansa and Meta and MSM.Digital have collaborated on a new in-flight initiative which is currently being tested that features mixed reality technologies for guests.

This means all flights equipped with Lufthansa’s Allegris and guests in the Business Class Suite now have the chance to use the headsets and give feedback on what they enjoyed.

What changes have been brought in for Lufthansa Allegris?

It’s not just First Class which has debuted, but all travel classes have had an upgrade. For the first time, customers in Business Class have their own suite with bigger monitors and more personal space.

It also has heated and cooled seats, shoulder sink-in, wireless charging modules, and a personal minibar in the suite.

The Lufthansa Allegris seat in Premium Economy Class offers more legroom, a fold-out leg rest, and can be adjusted further than before.

The highlights of the new Economy Class include greater seat pitch at 79 centimeters, tablet holders, USB ports and additional comfort in the first rows (86 centimeters).
